Introducing Dave

Dave lived alone, with his pet cow Fido (who thought she was a dog). He was a mild-mannered garbage man, who worked the early shift, from 5 to 7 each morning, except for alternate Saturdays, which he used to take up his passion - dried roadkill arrangements, using roadkill he collected from bins along the nearby highway.

Dave seemed like an ordinary, quiet man, who didn't get out much, and talked to himself and Fido more than he talked to anyone else.

But, Dave only seemed like this.

Whenever Danger called (Danger was the code-name of his super-secret superior), Dave would rush into a nearby phone-booth, or dive into a near-by garbage can, and emerge as... Garbage-man, saviour of all things unappetising!

As you could imagine, Danger didn't tend to call much, especially since there were far better crime fighters, such as Nerd-Boy and The Human Electric Cable living on either side of Dave's quiet suburban house.

But, all this was about to change.

Danger was about to give Dave a ring...
