Adventurenator
Rule Number 2 in the Q Dimension: No-one must ever mention...
For quite some time the adventure was a lot duller than Roger had anticipated. In fact, the adventure reminded him curiously of sitting in his armchair waiting for something to happen, and not having anything happen, on account of not actually knowing what one wanted to do.
0900 hours came and went, as did the time for Roger's previously scheduled flight to the Third Galaxy (which luckily had been covered by Roger, though not the same Roger that got confused by Roger saying 'Roger', rather a different Roger altogether, and by that third Roger I mentioned I mean Roger, not the other Roger or the Roger to whom Roger was talking), and Roger (yes, that Roger) was still sitting in his armchair.
"Well, this is boring," he said to nobody in particular.
"Yup, it sure is," nobody in particular replied.
"I need something exciting to do," Roger complained.
"That would be great," nobody in particular agreed.
There was silence.
"Ooooh! I've got it," exclaimed nobody in particular eventually, "Why don't you..."
But nobody in particular was cut off at that point by a sudden exploding noise in Roger's kitchen.
"Ah-hah!!" Roger yelled triumphantly, "An adventure!!"
And he sprang from his armchair like a spring from an armchair springing from an armchair.
