The World-Famous (to some people) online-novels of Lark and Musings, for you to sit back and enjoy in the quietness of your own home. Warning, all novels may contain traces of nuts, and insanity in large doses. (Reading hint: For more enjoyment and less wanting-to-die-from-how-stupid-it-all-is, L&M Blognovels are suggested read in smaller doses, rather than in one sitting).

A walk to remember

Sally was head of the High High School Cheerleading squad. Her hobbies included not thinking, screaming out "Goooooo! Raptors!", listening to pop music, and world peace. When God made Sally, let's just say.... he was a bit stingy when it came to brains.
Yes, Sally wasn't the sharpest tool in the Weet-Bix packet.
But, she was really, really, ridiculously, goodlooking, and so every guy in school wanted to be her best friend.
Of course, just because it's another stupid cliché, she was currently dating the captain of the school football team, Biff 'Meathead' PowerShake. She would never be seen at any important social occasion without Biff at her side, and at her other side, her faithful clique of equally stupid and goodlooking cheerleader bimbos, Melly, Kelly, Nelly, and Pam.
Sally had it pretty good in her hometown of Niceville, Texas. Her father was a stockbroker, and her mother ran bake sales. She also had a cheesy, annoying younger brother named Taylor. He doesn't feature much in this blognovel, though.
But one day, yes one day, Sally's life would change. And no, not just because there was, like, a mega-super-duper-massive 20% off sale at Gap this Fall, and if you miss out, you so aren't cool.

***

Nicholas Stabrinski was a nerd.
Every guy, or girl, at school, didn't want to be his best friend. He only had two friends. There names were Melissa and Burt. Melissa didn't really count though, she was his younger sister, and as she was only two years old, she couldn't really express a valid opinion about the situation. Burt was the guy in chess club who let him sit down by him without teasing him, and sometimes, he'd even say 'hi' to Nicholas, but only if he was in a good mood.

***

Nicholas was feeling depressed one night. After all, nobody likes me, he thought, why not go for a walk in the park and end it all. So that is what he did. (The walk, I mean.)

***

Sally was feeling stupid. The same night. She had just been out on a hot date with Biff and she was walking home through the park.

What happened next, was.... um.... simply.... yeah.
