Though I'm not entirely sure how his suspicions were confirmed, because a few moments later the stranger left the room. But first, he put Caida 2000 XB40 on charge mode, and left the office door and window open as before.
Dellua took his chance gleefully, like the fat kid in your class taking the chance to represent the region in the nationwide cake-eating contest. Out the window he lept, and away into Gore he fled!
Suddenly, Dellua knew he had a huge problem facing him! He didn't actually know where Porirua's house was situated relative to Gore! Plus, he was a cat, how was he going to travel all that way? (Assuming Porirua's house was a long way away.)
After a few agonizing minutes thinking about this problem, the solution hit him sharply and suddenly (like sitting down on a porcupine holding a precision Swiss steel carving knife in it's wee, cutesy-wutesy paw...)
PANK COULD HELP HIM!
(For those of you who don't know who Pank is, (how very ignorant of you! I'm sure he'll be offended if I tell him!), he is an alien spy who is currently living in Gore monitoring the levels of white trash and dangerous chemicals in the region. Yes, the two are very often related. Beven (see blog chapter 7, Timothy and Yolanda) was in fact born right next to a plutonium factory.)
ANYWAY,
Dellua, using his inbuilt alien senser (which, due to his size, was al that could be inbuilt into him) found Pank's house quickly.
He knocked on the door. Actually he didn't, he just sort of scratched it forlornly.
Pank opened the door. (And gave Dellua the fright of his life!)
